Welcome

I deliver integrative counselling to adults online, focusing on emotional well-being. As a qualified integrative counsellor, I use various therapeutic approaches to tailor my methods to your unique mental health therapy needs. Being a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to their professional standards. I understand that finding the right therapist can be daunting, regardless of the reason prompting you to seek counselling at this time – whether it's due to loss, depression, anxiety, stress, grief, or simply a sense of being “stuck.” I can offer a supportive place and a space for your story to be held, ensuring your safety and confidentiality at all times.

Our past experiences shape our view of the world and influence how we navigate our current relationships and circumstances. I understand that these experiences are unique to each individual, and I aim to help you make sense of them through integrative counselling.

My primary goal is to provide you with a safe, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself and freely explore your thoughts and feelings. This environment promotes emotional well-being, fostering trust and acceptance, allowing you to delve into your inner world without fear of criticism or judgment. Counselling can bring about many positive changes, such as helping you gain a clearer and deeper understanding of your own internal world and becoming more compassionate and open-minded toward yourself and others. It also promotes emotional resilience and increases your tolerance to change.

I provide a free induction session, which is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to discuss what brought you to seek therapy and what your aims are. This strictly confidential session allows you to explore at your own pace and comfort in this setting and with me. The length of therapy varies greatly between individuals and can be anything from a few sessions to several months or even years, depending on your needs and goals.

Emotional well-being is an essential aspect of our lives that can be significantly enhanced through integrative counselling and mental health therapy. These approaches focus on addressing the holistic needs of individuals, promoting a healthier mindset and a more balanced life.

Hi, I'm Lily

In my pursuit of self-discovery, meaning, and purpose, I began my journey to become a therapist by completing my Diploma in Counselling Practice. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Psychology to further develop my skills in emotional well-being and mental health therapy. I am also proud to be the winner of the Online Counsellor of the Year 2026 prestigious award.

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of integrative counselling to empower others to lead more fulfilling lives. Through my own experience as a therapist, I have witnessed the profound benefits of feeling seen, heard, and understood, and I am dedicated to providing this to you. It would be my privilege to be a part of your journey.

Before establishing my own practice, I volunteered at a shelter, offering affordable counselling services to both young people and adults.

What to expect working with me:

I deeply value the individual differences, otherness, and uniqueness of each person's experience, which is essential for emotional well-being. This is why I approach each client uniquely, tailoring my methods in integrative counselling to your specific needs and circumstances. Together, we can explore your past experiences through mental health therapy and help you understand how they have shaped your current path, ensuring you feel understood and valued throughout the process.

Talking Therapy, also known as psychotherapy, counselling or therapy, is a form of treatment that involves working with a trained therapist to explore and address emotional, behavioural and psychological issues.

Therapy can be helpful for individuals dealing with a wide range of challenges, including, but not limited to, mental health problems associated with relationships, life transitions, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety or trauma. The purpose of talking therapy is to identify the issues that cause distress and help the client find their answers and an understanding through engaging in the experience of a non-judgmental and empathic relationship with the therapist.

There are many benefits to participating in therapy. Some common benefits include but are not limited to:

· Improve mental health and wellbeing,

· Increased self-awareness and understanding of oneself,

· Enhanced coping skills and ability to manage stress and emotions,

· Improved relationships and communication with others,

· Improved relationships and communication with others,

· Greater self-acceptance and self-esteem,

· Increased insight and understanding of patterns, behaviours and thoughts

During the initial sessions, we will discuss your concerns and goals for therapy. This will help me gain a better understanding of your unique situation and develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs.

In the subsequent sessions, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours more deeply. This may involve discussing past experiences and their impacts on your present life, examining patterns of behaviours and thoughts and identifying areas for change.

Once we have identified your goals and areas for change, we will develop a strategy and an action plan to help you reach your goals. For clients that prefer working with goals, this may involve setting them, trying new behaviours, or simply just exploring and understanding the past so you can accept your present and move on. Other times, we may sit in silence.

As you progress through therapy, we will periodically review and evaluate how you feel and whether you’re getting what you need from therapy. This may involve discussing your experiences and challenges, assessing your progress towards your goals, and making any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan. The therapy progress is ongoing and dynamic, and it is important to regularly assess and reassess your needs and goals as they evolve over time, ensuring you feel reassured and confident in the effectiveness of the therapy.

It is common for individuals to have concerns or fears about starting therapy. Some common fears or misconceptions include:

· Being judged or misunderstood,

· Being “fixed” or told what to do,

· Not knowing what to talk about,

· Being vulnerable or exposing personal information,

· Feeling worse before feeling better,

· Therapy taking too long or not being effective.

Therapy is a safe and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or criticism.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
